Exodus 14

1 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) spoke to Drawn (Moses) saying,
2 Speak to the children of God Prevails (Israel), tell them to turn and encamp before Where Sedge Grows (Pi-hahiroth), between Tower (Migdol) and the sea, over against Lord of the North (Baal-Zephon). Encamp before it by the sea.
3 The Great House (Pharaoh) will say of the children of God Prevails (Israel), They are entangled in the land, the wilderness has shut them in.
4 The Great House (Pharaoh) will harden his heart. He will follow after them; and I will be honored through the Great House (Pharaoh), and through all his host; that the Double Straighters (Egyptians) may know that I am I AM (the LORD, Yehovah).” And they did so.
5 The king of Double Straights (Egypt) was told that the people fled and the heart of the Great House (Pharaoh) and of his servants turned against the people. They said, “Why have we done this, that we have let God Prevails (Israel) go from serving us?”
6 He made ready his chariot, and took his people with him.
7 He took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Double Straights (Egypt), and captains over every one of them.
8 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) hardened the heart of the Great House (Pharaoh) king of Double Straights (Egypt), and he pursued after the children of God Prevails (Israel). For children of God Prevails (Israel) went out with a high hand.
9 But the Double Straighters (Egyptians) pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of the Great House (Pharaoh), and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Where Sedge Grows (Pi-hahiroth), before Lord of the North (Baal-Zephon).
10 When the Great House (Pharaoh) drew near, the children of God Prevails (Israel) lifted up their eyes, saw that the Double Straighters (Egyptians) marched after them. They were very afraid: and the children of God Prevails (Israel) cried out to I AM (the LORD, Yehovah).
11 They said cried to Drawn (Moses), “Because there were no graves in Double Straights (Egypt), have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you dealt this way with us, to bring us out of Double Straights (Egypt)?
12 Did we not tell you in Double Straights (Egypt), Let us alone, that we may serve the Double Straighters (Egyptians)? For it had been better for us to serve the Double Straighters (Egyptians), than that we should die in the wilderness.”
13 Drawn (Moses) said to the people, “Fear not, stand still, and see the salvation of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), which He will show to you to day. The Double Straighters (Egyptians) whom you have seen to day, you will see again, no more, for ever.
14 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) will fight for you, and you will hold your peace.”
15 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) said to Drawn (Moses), “Why do you cry to me? Speak to the children of God Prevails (Israel) and tell them to go forward.
16 Lift you up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea, and divide it. The children of God Prevails (Israel) will go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
17 The hearts of the Double Straighters (Egyptians) will be hardened, and they will follow them. Through this I will get honor over the Great House (Pharaoh), and over all his host, over his chariots, and over his horsemen.
18 The Double Straighters (Egyptians) will know that I am I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), when I have gotten honor over the Great House (Pharaoh), over his chariots, and over his horsemen.”
19 The angel of God, which went before the camp of God Prevails (Israel) picked up and went behind them. The pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them.
20 It came between the camp of the Double Straighters (Egyptians) and the camp of God Prevails (Israel). It was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to the camp of God Prevails (Israel): so that the one did not come near the other all night.
21 Drawn (Moses) stretched out his hand over the sea; and I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night. The sea was made dry land, and the waters were divided.
22 And the children of God Prevails (Israel) went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand, and on their left.
23 The Double Straighters (Egyptians) pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, all the Great House (Pharaoh)'s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.
24 During the morning watch I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) looked out on the host of the Double Straighters (Egyptians) through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and moved noisely through the host of the Double Straighters (Egyptians),
25 Taking off their chariot wheels, slowing them down so that the Double Straighters (Egyptians) said, “Let us flee from the face of God Prevails (Israel); for I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) fights for them against the Double Straighters (Egyptians).”
26 Then I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) said to Drawn (Moses), Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the waters will come again over the Double Straighters (Egyptians), over their chariots, and over their horsemen.
27 So Drawn (Moses) stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to it's usual strength by the dawing of the morning. The Double Straighters (Egyptians) fled from it. I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) overthrew the Double Straighters (Egyptians) in the midst of the sea.
28 The waters returned covering the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of the Great House (Pharaoh) that had come into the sea after them. Not one was left.
29 But the children of God Prevails (Israel) walked on dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand, and on their left.
30 Thus I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) saved God Prevails (Israel) that day out of the hand of the Double Straighters (Egyptians); and God Prevails (Israel) saw the Double Straighters (Egyptians) dead on the sea shore.
31 God Prevails (Israel) saw that great work which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) did to the Double Straighters (Egyptians): and the people feared I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), and believed I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), and his servant Drawn (Moses).

Exodus 12

Author's note: When I opened my word processor this morning to finish this chapter up, every word had red squiggly lines under them indicating they were misspelled, except the words "I AM LORD Yehovah". He is our deliverer!

CHAPTER 12
1 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) spoke to Drawn (Moses) and Light Bringer (Aaron) in the land of Double Straights (Egypt), saying,
2 “This month will be to you the beginning of months: it will be the first month of the year to you.
3 Speak to all the congregation of God Prevails (Israel) , saying, In the tenth day of this month they will take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:
4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next to his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his appetite will make your count for the lamb.
5 Your lamb will be without blemish, a male of the first year. You will take it out from the sheep, or from the goats.
6 You will keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of God Prevails (Israel) will kill it in the evening.
7 They will take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they will eat it.
8 They will eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they will eat it.
9 Do not eat it raw, nor boiled with water, but roast it with fire; his head with his legs, and with the inner parts.
10 Let nothing of it remain until morning. If there is anything that will be left in the morning burn it with fire.
11 When you eat it, gird your loins. Have your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste: it is I AM's (the LORD, Yehovah) Passover.
12 Destruction will pass through the land of Double Straights (Egypt) this night, and will kill all the firstborn in the land of Double Straights (Egypt), both man and beast; and against all the gods of Double Straights (Egypt) judgment will be executed. I am I AM (the LORD, Yehovah).
13 The blood will be a sign on the houses. Where the blood can be seen the destruction will pass over you, and the plague will not destroy you, when the land of Double Straights (Egypt) is stricken.
14 This day will be a memorial to you; and you will keep it a feast to I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) throughout your generations; you will keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.
15 Seven days you will eat unleavened bread. The first day you will put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul will be cut off from God Prevails (Israel) .
16 On the first day there will be a holy convocation, and on the seventh day there will be a holy convocation to you; no manner of work will be done on them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done by you.
17 And you will observe the feast of unleavened bread; for on this day have I brought your armies out of the land of Double Straights (Egypt): therefore you will observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.
18 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at evening, you will eat unleavened bread, until the twenty-first day of the month at evening.
19 Seven days there will be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eats that which is leavened, That soul will be cut off from the congregation of God Prevails (Israel) , whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.
20 You will eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations you will eat unleavened bread.
21 Then Drawn (Moses) called for all the elders of God Prevails (Israel) , and said to them, Draw out and take a lamb according to your families, and kill the Passover.
22 Then take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the basin. Let none of you will go out at the door of his house until the morning.
23 For I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) will pass through to strike the Double Straighters (Egyptians). When He sees the blood on the lintel, and on the two side posts, I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) will pass over the door, and will not permit the destroyer to come in to your houses to strike you.
24 You will observe this thing as an ordinance to you and to your sons for ever.
25 It will come to pass, when you be come to the land which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) will give you, just as He has promised, that you will keep this service.
26 And when your children will say to you, What mean you by this service?
27 You will say, It is the sacrifice of I AM's (the LORD, Yehovah) Passover, who passed over the houses of the children of God Prevails (Israel) in Double Straights (Egypt), when he struck the Double Straighters (Egyptians), and delivered our families. Then the people bowed the head and worshiped.
28 The children of God Prevails (Israel) went away, and did as I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) had commanded Drawn (Moses) and Light Bringer (Aaron).
29 It came to pass, that at midnight I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) stuck all the firstborn in the land of Double Straights (Egypt), from the firstborn of the Great House (Pharaoh) that sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.
30 Then the Great House (Pharaoh) rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Double Straighters (Egyptians); and there was a great cry in Double Straights (Egypt); for there was not a house where there was not one dead.
31 He called for Drawn (Moses) and Light Bringer (Aaron) by night, and said, “Rise up, and leave my people, both you and the children of God Prevails (Israel). Go, serve I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), as you have said.
32 Also take your flocks and your herds, as you have said, and be gone; and bless me also.”
33 The Double Straighters (Egyptians) begged the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, “We will all be dead men.”
34 And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneading troughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.
35 So, the children of God Prevails (Israel) did according to the word of Drawn (Moses); and they borrowed of the Double Straighters (Egyptians) jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and clothing.
36 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) gave the people favor in the sight of the Double Straighters (Egyptians), so that they lent to them such things as they required. Thus they spoiled the Double Straighters (Egyptians).
37 The children of God Prevails (Israel) journeyed from Child of the Sun (Rameses) to Booths (Succoth)  about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.
38 A mixed multitude also went up with them; and flocks, and herds, and very much cattle.
39 They baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought out of Double Straights (Egypt). It was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Double Straights (Egypt), and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any food.
40 Now the time the children of God Prevails (Israel) dwelt in Double Straights (Egypt), was four hundred and thirty years.****
41 At the end of the four hundred and thirty years, that same day that all the hosts of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) left the land of Double Straights (Egypt).
42 It is a night to be observed unto I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) for bringing them out from the land of Double Straights (Egypt). This is that night of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) to be observed by all the children of God Prevails (Israel) in their generations.
43 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) said to Drawn (Moses) and Light Bringer (Aaron), “This is the ordinance of the Passover: There will no stranger eat thereof:
44 But every man's servant that is bought for money, when you have circumcised him, then will he eat thereof.
45 A foreigner and an hired servant will not eat thereof.
46 In one house will it be eaten; you will not take of the flesh outside of the house; neither will you break a bone thereof.
47 All the congregation of God Prevails (Israel) will keep it.
48 And when a stranger will live with you, and will keep the Passover to I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he will be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person will eat thereof.
49 One law will be to him that is home born, and to the stranger that lives among you.
50 Thus did all the children of God Prevails (Israel) ; as I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) commanded Drawn (Moses) and Light Bringer (Aaron), so did they.
51 That selfsame day I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) brought the children of God Prevails (Israel) out of the land of Double Straights (Egypt) the whole host of them.

Exodus 11

1 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) said to Drawn (Moses), “I will bring one more plague upon the Great House (Pharaoh), and upon Double Straights (Egypt); afterwards he will let you go. When he lets you go, he will thrust you out altogether.
2 Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow of his neighbor, and every woman of her neighbor, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold.”
3 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) gave the people favor in the sight of the Double Straighters (Egyptians). Moreover the man Drawn (Moses) was very great in the land of Double Straights (Egypt), in the sight of the Great House (Pharaoh)'s servants, and in the sight of the people.
4 Drawn (Moses) said, “Thus says I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), About midnight will I go out into the midst of Double Straights (Egypt):
5 And all the firstborn in the land of Double Straights (Egypt) shall die, from the firstborn of the Great House (Pharaoh) that sits upon his throne, even to the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.
6 There shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Double Straights (Egypt), such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.
7 But against any of the children of God Prevails (Israel) shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that you may know how that I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) puts a difference between the Double  (Egyptians) and God Prevails (Israel).
8 All these your servants shall come down to me, and bow down themselves to me, saying, Get you out, and all the people that follow you: and after that I will go out.” And he went out from the Great House (Pharaoh) in a great anger.
9 And I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) said to Drawn (Moses), “The Great House (Pharaoh) will not listen to you and My wonders will be multiplied in the land of Double Straights (Egypt).”
10 Drawn (Moses) and Light Bringer (Aaron) did all these wonders before the Great House (Pharaoh): and I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) hardened the Great House (Pharaoh)'s heart. He would not let the children of God Prevails (Israel) go out of his land.

Exodus 10

1 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) said to Drawn (Moses), “Go in to the Great House (Pharaoh). His heart, and the heart of his servants have been hardened. I will show these signs before him.
2 Recount them in the ears of your son, and of your son's son, how severely Double Straights (Egypt) was dealt with, and the signs that were directed at them; that you may know how that I am I AM (the LORD, Yehovah).”
3 Drawn (Moses) and Light Bringer (Aaron) came in to the Great House (Pharaoh), and said to him, “Thus says I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) God of the One From Beyonds (Hebrews), How long will you refuse to humble yourself before Me? Let My people go, that they may serve Me.
4 Else, if you refuse to let My people go, behold, tomorrow, locusts will come into your territory.
5 They will cover the face of the earth, so that one will not be able to see the earth: and they will eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remains from the hail, and will eat every tree which grows for you out of the field.
6 They will fill your houses, and the houses of all your servants, and the houses of all the Double Straighters (Egyptians); like neither your fathers, nor your fathers' fathers have seen, since the day that they were upon the earth to this day.” Then he turned, and went out from the Great House (Pharaoh).
7 The Great House (Pharaoh)'s servants said to him, “How long will this man be a snare to us? Let the men go, that they may serve I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) their God. Don't you realize that Double Straights (Egypt) is destroyed?”
8 Drawn (Moses) and Light Bringer (Aaron) were brought again to the Great House (Pharaoh): and he said to them, “Go, serve I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God. Tell me who will be going?”
9 Drawn (Moses) said, “We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold a feast to I AM (the LORD, Yehovah).”
10 He answered them, “I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) had better be with you, if I let you and your little ones go! You have an evil plan.
11 It will not be so! Take your men, and serve I AM (the LORD, Yehovah); for that is what you asked.” And they were driven out from the Great House (Pharaoh)'s presence.
12 Then I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) said to Drawn (Moses), “Stretch out your hand over the land of Double Straights (Egypt) for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Double Straights (Egypt), and eat every herb of the land, everything that the hail has left”
13 So, Drawn (Moses) stretched forth his rod over the land of Double Straights (Egypt), and I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.
14 The locusts went up over all the land of Double Straights (Egypt), and rested in all the territory of Double Straights (Egypt). Very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such.
15 For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they ate every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Double Straights (Egypt).
16 Then the Great House (Pharaoh) called for Drawn (Moses) and Light Bringer (Aaron) in haste. He said, “I have sinned against I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God, and against you.
17 Now therefore forgive my sin this time, and intreat I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God, that He may take away from me this death.”
18 And he went out from the Great House (Pharaoh), and intreated I AM (the LORD, Yehovah).
19 So, I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the Red sea. There remained not one locust in all the territory of Double Straights (Egypt).
20 But I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) hardened the Great House (Pharaoh)'s heart. He would not let the children of God Prevails (Israel) go.
21 Then I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) said to Drawn (Moses), “Stretch out your hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Double Straights (Egypt), even darkness which may be felt.”
22 And Drawn (Moses) stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Double Straights (Egypt) three days.
23 They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of God Prevails (Israel) had light in their dwellings.
24 Then the Great House (Pharaoh) called to Drawn (Moses), and said, “Go , serve I AM (the LORD, Yehovah); your flocks and your herds will stay, but your little ones also go with you.”
25 But Drawn (Moses) answered, “You must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice to I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) our God.
26 Our livestock also will go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for of them we must take to serve I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) our God; and we know not with what we must serve I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), until we get there.”
27 But I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) hardened the Great House (Pharaoh)'s heart, and he would not let them go.
28 The Great House (Pharaoh) said to him, “Get away from me! Don't come back. You will see my face no more; for in that day you see my face you will die!”
29 And Drawn (Moses) said, “You have spoken well, I will see your face again no more.”

* Note – How a substance reacts to the sun depends on it's character. The sun hardens brick, but melts wax. I AM's hardening of the Great House's heart reflects the Great House's character and his reaction to I AM.

Exodus 9

1 Then I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) said to Drawn (Moses), “Go in to the Great House (Pharaoh) and tell him, Thus says I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) God of the One From Beyonds (Hebrews), Let my people go, that they may serve me.
2 For if you refuse to let them go, and hold them still,
3 The hand of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) will be upon your cattle in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep. There will be a devestating plague.
4 Yet, I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) will distinguish between the cattle of God Prevails (Israel) and the cattle of Double Straights (Egypt): and nothing shall die of all that is the children's of God Prevails (Israel) .”
5 Then I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) appointed a set time, saying, “Tomorrow I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) shall do this thing in the land.”
6 So I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) did that thing the next day, and all the cattle of Double Straights (Egypt) died: but of the cattle of the children of God Prevails (Israel), not one died.
7 And the Great House (Pharaoh) sent investigators, and there was not one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. But the heart of the Great House (Pharaoh) was hardened, and he did not let the people go.
8 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) said to Drawn (Moses) and to Light Bringer (Aaron), “Take handfuls of ashes of the furnace with you, and let Drawn (Moses) sprinkle it toward the heaven in the sight of the Great House (Pharaoh).
9 It shall become small dust in all the land of Double Straights (Egypt) that will carry boils that spread with blisters upon man, and upon beast, throughout all the land of Double Straights (Egypt).
10 And they took ashes of the furnace, and stood before the Great House (Pharaoh); and Drawn (Moses) sprinkled it up toward heaven; and it became a boil breaking forth with blisters upon man, and upon beast.
11 The magicians could not stand before Drawn (Moses) because of the boils; for the boils were upon the magicians, and upon all the Double Straighters (Egyptians).
12 Yet I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) irritated and hardened the heart of the Great House (Pharaoh), and he did not listen to them; as I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) had spoken to Drawn (Moses).
13 Then, I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) said to Drawn (Moses), “Rise up early in the morning, and stand before the Great House (Pharaoh), and say to him, Thus says I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) God of the One From Beyonds (Hebrews), Let My people go, that they may serve Me.
14 Now you will be tread upon by plagues on your heart, and on your servants, and on your people; that you may know that there is none like Me in all the earth.
15 For now I will stretch out my hand, that you and your people might be attacked with pestilence; and you will be cut off from the earth.
16 Indeed, for this cause have you were raised up, to show in you My power; and that My name may be declared throughout all the earth.
17 Yet you exalt yourself against My people, that you will not let them go?
18 Tomorrow, about this time it will rain a very horrible hail, such as has not been in Double Straights (Egypt) since the foundation of it, even until now.
19 Send therefore now, and gather your cattle, and all that you have in the field; for upon every man and beast which is in the field, and has not been brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die.”
20 He that feared the word of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) among the servants of the Great House (Pharaoh) made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses:
21 And he that regarded not the word of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) left his servants and his cattle in the field.
22 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) said to Drawn (Moses), “Stretch forth your hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Double Straights (Egypt), upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Double Straights (Egypt).”
23 So Drawn (Moses) stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) allowed thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) rained hail upon the land of Double Straights (Egypt).
24 So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Double Straights (Egypt) since it became a nation.
25 The hail killed throughout all the land of Double Straights (Egypt) all that were in the field, both man and beast; and the hail destroyed every herb of the field, and broke every tree of the field.
26 Only in the land of Drawing Near (Goshen), where the children of God Prevails (Israel) were, was there no hail.
27 Then the Great House (Pharaoh) sent, and called for Drawn (Moses) and Light Bringer (Aaron), and said to them, “I have sinned this time: I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.
28 Intreat I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) (for it is enough) that there be no more mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and you shall stay no longer.”
29 Drawn (Moses) said to him, “As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands to I AM (the LORD, Yehovah); and the thunder shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that you may know that the earth is I AM's (the LORD, Yehovah).
30 But as for you and your servants, I know that you will not yet fear I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) God ('Elohiym).”
31 The flax and the barley were destroyed: for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was budding.
32 But the wheat and the rye were not destroyed: for they were not grown up.
33 Drawn (Moses) went out of the city from the Great House (Pharaoh), and spread his hands out to I AM (the LORD, Yehovah): and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was quit pouring on the earth.
34 When the Great House (Pharaoh) saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders had ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.
35 And the heart of the Great House (Pharaoh) was hardened, neither would he let the children of God Prevails (Israel) go; as I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) had spoken by Drawn (Moses).

Exodus 1

1 Now these are the names of the children of God Prevails (Israel),who came into Double Straights (Egypt); every man and his household came with Heel-Grabber (Jacob).
2 Behold a Son (Reuben), Heard (Simeon), Joined To (Levi), and Praised (Judah),
3 Recompense (Issachar), Exalted (Zebulun), and Son of the Right Hand (Benjamin),
4 Judge (Dan), and Wrestling (Naphtali), Troop (Gad), and Happy (Asher).
5 All the souls that came out of the loins of Heel-Grabber (Jacob) were seventy souls: for Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) was in Double Straights (Egypt) already.
6 Then Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) died, and all his brethren, and all that generation.
7 And the children of God Prevails (Israel) were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and grew exceedingly mighty. The land was filled with them.
8 Now there arose a new king over Double Straights (Egypt) who did not know Yehovah Will Add (Joseph).
9 He said to his people, “The people of the children of God Prevails (Israel) are more and mightier than we.
10 Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when war comes, they join our enemies, and fight against us, and take over the land.
11 Therefore they set over them taskmasters to afflict them with burdens. And they built for the Great House (Pharaoh) the treasure cities, The City of Justice (Pithom) and Child of the Sun (Rameses).
12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. They grieved because of the children of God Prevails (Israel).
13 Then the Double Straighters (Egyptians) made the children of God Prevails (Israel) to serve with even more rigor.
14 They made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in mortar, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigor.
15 Then the king of Double Straights (Egypt) spoke to the One From Beyond (Hebrew) midwives, of which the name of the one was Fair (Shiphrah), and the name of the other Splendid (Puah):
16 He said, “When you do the practice of a midwife to the One From Beyond (Hebrew) women, and see them on the stools; if it be a son, then kill him: but if it be a daughter, then let her live.”
17 But the midwives feared God ('Elohiym), and did not do as the king of Double Straights (Egypt) commanded them, but saved the men children alive.
18 The king of Double Straights (Egypt) called for the midwives, and questioned them, “Why have you done this thing, and saved the men children alive?”
19 The midwives answered the Great House (Pharaoh), “Because the One From Beyond (Hebrew) women are not as the Double Straighter (Egyptian) women. They are lively, and are delivered before the midwives come to them.”
20 Therefore God ('Elohiym) dealt well with the midwives: and the people multiplied, and grew very mighty.
21 And because the midwives feared God ('Elohiym), He made them houses.
22 And the Great House (Pharaoh) charged the people of God Prevails (Israel), saying, “Every son that is born you shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive.”

The Beginning (Genesis) 50

CHAPTER 50
1 Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) fell on his father's face, and wept on him, and kissed him.
2 Then Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) commanded his servants, the physicians, to embalm his father. So, the physicians embalmed God Prevails (Israel) .
3 The forty days were fulfilled for him; for so are fulfilled the days of those which are embalmed. The Double Straighters (Egyptians) mourned for him 70 days.
4 When the days of his mourning were past, Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) spoke to the house of the Great House (Pharaoh) saying, “If now I have found grace in your eyes, please speak in the ears of the Great House (Pharaoh). Tell him:
5 My father made me swear, saying, “I am dying. I want you to bury me in my grave which I have dug for me in the land of Humbled One (Canaan). Now therefore, please, let me go up and bury my father, and I will come back again.”
6 The Great House (Pharaoh) said, “Go up, and bury your father, according as he made you swear.”
7 Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) went up to bury his father: and with him went up all the servants of the Great House (Pharaoh), the elders of his house, and all the elders of the land of Double Straights (Egypt),
8 And all the house of Yehovah Will Add (Joseph), and his brethren, and his father's house: only their little ones, and their flocks, and their herds, they left in the land of Drawing Near (Goshen).
9 There went up with him both chariots and horsemen: and it was a very great company.
10 They came to the threshing floor of Buckthorn (Atad), which is beyond the Descender (Jordan), and there they mourned with a great and very sore lamentation: and he made a mourning for his father seven days.
11 And when the inhabitants of the land, the Humbled Ones (Canaanites), saw the mourning in the floor of Buckthorn (Atad), they said, “This is a grievous mourning to the Double Straighters (Egyptians). This is why the name of it was called Breath of Double Straights (Abel-Mizraim), which is beyond Descender (Jordan).
12 And his sons did to him according as he commanded them.
13 They carried him into the land of Humbled One (Canaan), and buried him in the cave of the field of Double Portion (Machpelah), which Father of a Multitude (Abraham) bought with the field for a possession of a burying place from Fawn-Like (Ephron) the Terror (Hittite), before Strength (Mamre).
14 Then Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) returned into Double Straights (Egypt), he, and his brethren, and all that went up with him to bury his father, after he had buried his father.
15 When Yehovah Will Add (Joseph)'s brethren saw that their father was dead, they said, “Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) will probably hate us, and will certainly repay us all the evil which we did to him.”
16 And they sent a messenger to Yehovah Will Add (Joseph), saying, “Your father commanded before he died, saying,
17 Say to Yehovah Will Add (Joseph), Please forgive the trespass of your brethren, and their sin; for they did evil to you. Now, please, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of your father.” And Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) wept when they spoke to him.
18 His brothers also went and fell down before his face. They said, “Behold, we are your servants.”
19 Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) answered them, “Fear not. Am I in the place of God?
20 But as for you, you thought evil against me; but God meant it for good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
21 Now therefore fear not: I will nourish you, and your little ones.” Thus he comforted them, and spoke kindly to them.
22 Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) dwelt in Double Straights (Egypt), he, and his father's house: and Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) lived a hundred and ten years.
23 Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) saw Double Ash-Heap: Doubly Fruitful (Ephraim)'s children of the third generation. The children also of Sold (Machir) the son of Causing to Forget (Manasseh) were brought up on Yehovah Will Add (Joseph)'s knees.
24 And Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) said to his brethren, “I am dying. God ('Elohiym) will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land to the land which he swore to Father of a Multitude (Abraham), to Laughter (Isaac), and to Heel-Grabber (Jacob).”
25 Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) took an oath of the children of God Prevails (Israel) saying, “God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones from here.”
26 So Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) died, being a hundred and ten years old: and they embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Double Straights (Egypt).

The Beginning (Genesis) 47

1 Then Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) came and told Great House (Pharaoh), “My father and my brethren, and their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have, have come out of the land of Humbled One (Canaan) and they are in the land of Drawing Near (Goshen).
2 He took some of his brethren, five men, and presented them to Great House (Pharaoh).
3 Great House (Pharaoh) said to his brethren, “What is your occupation? They answered Great House (Pharaoh), “Your servants are shepherds, both we, and also our fathers.”
4 They also told Great House (Pharaoh), We have come to dwell for a time because we have no pasture in the land of Humbled One (Canaan) because of the famine. So, please, let your servants dwell in the land of Drawing Near (Goshen).
5 Great House (Pharaoh) spoke to Yehovah Will Add (Joseph), saying, “Your father and your brethren have come to you.
6 The land of Double Straights (Egypt) is before you; make your father and brethren dwell in the best of the land. Let them dwell in the land of Drawing Near (Goshen). And if you know any men of ability among them, make them rulers over my cattle.
7 Then Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) brought in Heel-Grabber (Jacob) his father, and set him before the Great House (Pharaoh) and Heel-Grabber (Jacob) blessed the Great House (Pharaoh).
8 And the Great House (Pharaoh) said to Heel-Grabber (Jacob), “How old are you?”
9 Heel-Grabber (Jacob) replied to Great House (Pharaoh), “The days of the years of my pilgrimage are an hundred and thirty years. Few and evil have the days of the years of my life been, and have not even begun to reach the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.”
10 And Heel-Grabber (Jacob) blessed Great House (Pharaoh), and went out from before the Great House (Pharaoh).
11 Then Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) placed his father and his brethren, and gave them a possession in the land of Double Straights (Egypt), in the best of the land, in the land of Child of the Sun (Rameses), as Great House (Pharaoh) had commanded.
12 So Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) nourished his father, and his brethren, and all his father's household, with bread, according to their families.
13 ¶ And there was no bread in all the land; for the famine was very bad, so that the land of Double Straights (Egypt) and all the land of Humbled One (Canaan) fainted by reason of the famine.
14 Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) gathered up all the money that was found in the land of Double Straights (Egypt), and in the land of Humbled One (Canaan), for the grain which they bought. Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) brought that money into the Great House's (Pharaoh) house.
15 When money failed in the land of Double Straights (Egypt), and in the land of Humbled One (Canaan), all the Double Straighters (Egyptians) came to Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) and said, “Give us bread! Why should we die in your presence? Our money is gone,"
16 Yehovah will Add (Joseph) said, “If your money is gone, I will give you grain for your animals.”
17 And they brought their animals to Yehovah Will Add (Joseph). So Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) gave them bread in exchange for horses, and for the flocks, and for the cattle of the herds, and for the asses: and he fed them with bread for all their cattle for that year.
18 When that year was ended, they came to him the second year, and said unto him, “We will not hide it from my lord, how that our money is spent. My lord also has our herds of cattle; there is not anything left in the sight of my lord, but our bodies, and our lands:
19 Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants to the Great House (Pharaoh) and give us seed, that we may live, and not die, that the land will not be desolate.”
20 Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) bought all the land of Double Straights (Egypt) for the Great House (Pharaoh). The Double Straighters (Egyptians) sold every man his field, because the famine prevailed over them. So the land became the Great House (Pharaoh)'s.
21 As for the people, he removed them to cities from one end of the borders of Double Straights (Egypt) even to the other end thereof.
22 Only the land of the priests didn't buy because the priests had a portion assigned them of the Great House (Pharaoh), and ate their portion which the Great House (Pharaoh) gave them so they didn't have to sell their lands.
23 Then Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) said to the people, “Behold, I have bought you this day and your land for the Great House (Pharaoh). Here is seed for you, and you will sow the land.
24 When the harvest comes in, one part will belong to the Great House (Pharaoh), and four parts shall be your own, for seed of the field, and for your food, and for your households, and for food for your little ones.”
25 And they said, “You have saved our lives. Let us find grace in the sight of my lord, and we will be the Great House's (Pharaoh)servants.”
26 So Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) made it a law over the land of Double Straights (Egypt) to this day, that the Great House (Pharaoh) should have the fifth part; except the land of the priests only, which did not become the Great House's (Pharaoh).
27 And God Prevails (Israel) dwelt in the land of Double Straights (Egypt), in the country of Drawing Near (Goshen). They possessed that land, and grew, and multiplied exceedingly.
28 Heel-Grabber (Jacob) lived in the land of Double Straights (Egypt) seventeen years: so the whole age of Heel-Grabber (Jacob) was an hundred forty and seven years.
29 When the time drew nigh for God Prevails (Israel) to die, he called his son Yehovah Will Add (Joseph), and said to him, “If now I have found grace in your sight, please put your hand under my thigh, and deal kindly and truly with me. Please do not bury me in Double Straights (Egypt).
30 But I will lie with my fathers, and Carry me out of Double Straights (Egypt), and bury me in their burying place.” Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) promised, “I will do as you have said.”
31 And he said, “Swear to me.” So Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) swore to him. Then God Prevails (Israel) bowed himself upon the bed's head.

The Beginning (Genesis) 45

1 Then Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) could not refrain himself before all them that stood by him; and he cried, “Cause every man to go out from me.” And there stood no man with him, while Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) made himself known to his brothers.
2 He wept aloud, and the Double Straighters (Egyptians) and the house of the Great House (Pharaoh) heard.
3 Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) said to his brothers, “I am Yehovah Will Add (Joseph). Is my father still alive? His brothers could not answer him; for they were troubled at his presence.
4 Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) said to his brothers, “Come near to me, please.” So they came near. He said, “I am Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) your brother, whom you sold into Double Straights (Egypt).
5 Do not be grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that you sold me here: for God ('Elohiym) sent me before you to preserve life.
6 For two years the famine has been in the land: and there are five more years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest.
7 God ('Elohiym) sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.
8 So now it was not you that sent me here, but God ('Elohiym) and He has made me a father to the Great House (Pharaoh), and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Double Straights (Egypt).
9 Hurry, go up to my father, and say to him, “This is what your son Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) says, God ('Elohiym) has made me lord of all Double Straights (Egypt): come down to me, tarry not:
10 And you shall dwell in the land of Drawing Near (Goshen), and you shall be near me, you, and your children, and your children's children, and your flocks, and your herds, and all that you have:
11 And there will I nourish you; for there are yet five years of famine; lest you, and your household, and all that you have, come to poverty.
12 Your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Son of the Right Hand (Benjamin), that it is my mouth that speaks to you.
13 Tell my father of all my glory in Double Straights (Egypt), and of all that you have seen. Hurry and bring my father down here.”
14 He hugged his brother Son of the Right Hand (Benjamin)'s neck, and wept; and Son of the Right Hand (Benjamin) wept on his neck.
15 Moreover he kissed all his brethren, and wept on them: and after that his brethren talked with him.
16 The news was heard in the Great House (Pharaoh)'s house, saying, “Yehovah Will Add (Joseph)'s brothers have come.” It pleased the Great House (Pharaoh) well, and his servants.
17 The Great House (Pharaoh) said to Yehovah Will Add (Joseph), “Say to your brethren, Load your beasts, and go to the land of Humbled One (Canaan);
18 Take your father and your households, and come to me: and I will give you the good of the land of Double Straights (Egypt), and you shall eat the fat of the land.
19 Now you are commanded, this do you; take wagons out of the land of Double Straights (Egypt) for your little ones, and for your wives, and bring your father, and come.
20 Don't worry about not your stuff; for the good of all the land of Double Straights (Egypt) is yours.
21 The children of God Prevails (Israel) did so and Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) gave them wagons, according to the commandment of the Great House (Pharaoh), giving them provision for the way.
22 He gave each man a change of clothing; but to Son of the Right Hand (Benjamin) he gave three hundred pieces of silver, and five changes of clothing.
23 And to his father he sent ten asses laden with the good things of Double Straights (Egypt), and ten she asses laden with corn and bread and meat for his father by the way.
24 So he sent his brothers away, and they departed: and he said to them, “Be careful on the way.”
25 They went up out of Double Straights (Egypt), and came into the land of Humbled One (Canaan) to Heel-Grabber (Jacob) their father,
26 And told him, “Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) is alive, and he is governor over all the land of Double Straights (Egypt). And Heel-Grabber (Jacob)'s heart fainted with disbelief!
27 They told him all that Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) had said unto them: and when he saw the wagons which Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) had sent to carry him, the spirit of Heel-Grabber (Jacob) their father revived:
28 And God Prevails (Israel) said, “It is enough; Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) my son is yet alive: I will go and see him before I die.”
