Exodus 1

1 Now these are the names of the children of God Prevails (Israel),who came into Double Straights (Egypt); every man and his household came with Heel-Grabber (Jacob).
2 Behold a Son (Reuben), Heard (Simeon), Joined To (Levi), and Praised (Judah),
3 Recompense (Issachar), Exalted (Zebulun), and Son of the Right Hand (Benjamin),
4 Judge (Dan), and Wrestling (Naphtali), Troop (Gad), and Happy (Asher).
5 All the souls that came out of the loins of Heel-Grabber (Jacob) were seventy souls: for Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) was in Double Straights (Egypt) already.
6 Then Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) died, and all his brethren, and all that generation.
7 And the children of God Prevails (Israel) were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and grew exceedingly mighty. The land was filled with them.
8 Now there arose a new king over Double Straights (Egypt) who did not know Yehovah Will Add (Joseph).
9 He said to his people, “The people of the children of God Prevails (Israel) are more and mightier than we.
10 Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when war comes, they join our enemies, and fight against us, and take over the land.
11 Therefore they set over them taskmasters to afflict them with burdens. And they built for the Great House (Pharaoh) the treasure cities, The City of Justice (Pithom) and Child of the Sun (Rameses).
12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. They grieved because of the children of God Prevails (Israel).
13 Then the Double Straighters (Egyptians) made the children of God Prevails (Israel) to serve with even more rigor.
14 They made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in mortar, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigor.
15 Then the king of Double Straights (Egypt) spoke to the One From Beyond (Hebrew) midwives, of which the name of the one was Fair (Shiphrah), and the name of the other Splendid (Puah):
16 He said, “When you do the practice of a midwife to the One From Beyond (Hebrew) women, and see them on the stools; if it be a son, then kill him: but if it be a daughter, then let her live.”
17 But the midwives feared God ('Elohiym), and did not do as the king of Double Straights (Egypt) commanded them, but saved the men children alive.
18 The king of Double Straights (Egypt) called for the midwives, and questioned them, “Why have you done this thing, and saved the men children alive?”
19 The midwives answered the Great House (Pharaoh), “Because the One From Beyond (Hebrew) women are not as the Double Straighter (Egyptian) women. They are lively, and are delivered before the midwives come to them.”
20 Therefore God ('Elohiym) dealt well with the midwives: and the people multiplied, and grew very mighty.
21 And because the midwives feared God ('Elohiym), He made them houses.
22 And the Great House (Pharaoh) charged the people of God Prevails (Israel), saying, “Every son that is born you shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive.”

The Beginning (Genesis) 50

CHAPTER 50
1 Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) fell on his father's face, and wept on him, and kissed him.
2 Then Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) commanded his servants, the physicians, to embalm his father. So, the physicians embalmed God Prevails (Israel) .
3 The forty days were fulfilled for him; for so are fulfilled the days of those which are embalmed. The Double Straighters (Egyptians) mourned for him 70 days.
4 When the days of his mourning were past, Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) spoke to the house of the Great House (Pharaoh) saying, “If now I have found grace in your eyes, please speak in the ears of the Great House (Pharaoh). Tell him:
5 My father made me swear, saying, “I am dying. I want you to bury me in my grave which I have dug for me in the land of Humbled One (Canaan). Now therefore, please, let me go up and bury my father, and I will come back again.”
6 The Great House (Pharaoh) said, “Go up, and bury your father, according as he made you swear.”
7 Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) went up to bury his father: and with him went up all the servants of the Great House (Pharaoh), the elders of his house, and all the elders of the land of Double Straights (Egypt),
8 And all the house of Yehovah Will Add (Joseph), and his brethren, and his father's house: only their little ones, and their flocks, and their herds, they left in the land of Drawing Near (Goshen).
9 There went up with him both chariots and horsemen: and it was a very great company.
10 They came to the threshing floor of Buckthorn (Atad), which is beyond the Descender (Jordan), and there they mourned with a great and very sore lamentation: and he made a mourning for his father seven days.
11 And when the inhabitants of the land, the Humbled Ones (Canaanites), saw the mourning in the floor of Buckthorn (Atad), they said, “This is a grievous mourning to the Double Straighters (Egyptians). This is why the name of it was called Breath of Double Straights (Abel-Mizraim), which is beyond Descender (Jordan).
12 And his sons did to him according as he commanded them.
13 They carried him into the land of Humbled One (Canaan), and buried him in the cave of the field of Double Portion (Machpelah), which Father of a Multitude (Abraham) bought with the field for a possession of a burying place from Fawn-Like (Ephron) the Terror (Hittite), before Strength (Mamre).
14 Then Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) returned into Double Straights (Egypt), he, and his brethren, and all that went up with him to bury his father, after he had buried his father.
15 When Yehovah Will Add (Joseph)'s brethren saw that their father was dead, they said, “Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) will probably hate us, and will certainly repay us all the evil which we did to him.”
16 And they sent a messenger to Yehovah Will Add (Joseph), saying, “Your father commanded before he died, saying,
17 Say to Yehovah Will Add (Joseph), Please forgive the trespass of your brethren, and their sin; for they did evil to you. Now, please, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of your father.” And Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) wept when they spoke to him.
18 His brothers also went and fell down before his face. They said, “Behold, we are your servants.”
19 Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) answered them, “Fear not. Am I in the place of God?
20 But as for you, you thought evil against me; but God meant it for good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
21 Now therefore fear not: I will nourish you, and your little ones.” Thus he comforted them, and spoke kindly to them.
22 Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) dwelt in Double Straights (Egypt), he, and his father's house: and Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) lived a hundred and ten years.
23 Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) saw Double Ash-Heap: Doubly Fruitful (Ephraim)'s children of the third generation. The children also of Sold (Machir) the son of Causing to Forget (Manasseh) were brought up on Yehovah Will Add (Joseph)'s knees.
24 And Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) said to his brethren, “I am dying. God ('Elohiym) will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land to the land which he swore to Father of a Multitude (Abraham), to Laughter (Isaac), and to Heel-Grabber (Jacob).”
25 Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) took an oath of the children of God Prevails (Israel) saying, “God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones from here.”
26 So Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) died, being a hundred and ten years old: and they embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Double Straights (Egypt).

The Beginning (Genesis) 49

1 Heel-Grabber (Jacob) called his sons, and said, “Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you what will befall you in the last days.
2 Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Heel-Grabber (Jacob); and listen to God Prevails (Israel) your father.
3 Behold a Son (Reuben), you are my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power:
4 Unstable as water, you will not excel; because you went up to your father's bed; then you defiled it. He went up to my couch.
5 Heard (Simeon) and Joined To (Levi) are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations.
6 O my soul, come not their secret. Into their assembly, my honor, be not united. In their anger, they slew a man, and in their self will they hamstrung an ox.
7 Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Heel-Grabber (Jacob), and scatter them in God Prevails (Israel) .
8 Praised (Judah), you are he whom your brethren shall praise. Your hand shall be in the neck of your enemies. Your Father's children shall bow down before you.
9 Praised (Judah) is a lion's whelp. With the prey, my son, you climb high. He stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?
10 The scepter shall not depart from Praised (Judah), nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Tranquility (Shiloh) come; and to him shall the gathering of the people be.
11 Binding his foal to the vine, and his ass's colt to the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes.
12 His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.
13 Exalted (Zebulun) shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he shall be n haven for ships; and his border shall be to Hunter/Fisher (Zidon).
14 Recompense (Issachar) is a strong ass couching down between two burdens.
15 He saw that rest was good, and that the land was pleasant. He bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant to tribute.
16 Judge (Dan) shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of God Prevails (Israel) .
17 Judge (Dan) shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that bites the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.
18 I have waited for your salvation, O LORD.
19 Troop (Gad), a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last.
20 Out of Happy (Asher) his bread will be fat, and he will yield royal dainties.
21 Wrestling (Naphtali) is a deer let loose: he gives good words.
22 Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) is a fruitful bough, a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall.
23 The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him:
24 But his bow was strong, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Heel-Grabber (Jacob); (from there is the shepherd, the stone of God Prevails (Israel).
25 The God of your father will help you. The the Nurturer (El Shaddai), will bless you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lie under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:
26 The blessings of your father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors to the utmost bound of the everlasting hills. They will be on the head of Yehovah Will Add (Joseph), and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.
27 Son of the Right Hand (Benjamin) is a ravenous wolf: in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil.
28 These are the twelve tribes of God Prevails (Israel). And this is what their father spoke over them, and blessed them; every one according to his blessing he blessed them.
29 Then he charged them, saying, I am to be gathered to my people: bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Fawn-Like (Ephron) the Terror (Hittite),
30 In the cave in the field of Double Portion (Machpelah), which is before Strength (Mamre), in the land of Humbled One (Canaan), which Father of a Multitude (Abraham) bought with the field of Fawn-Like (Ephron) the Terror (Hittite) for a possession of a burying place.
31 There they buried Father of a Multitude (Abraham) and Noblewoman (Sarah) his wife; there they buried Laughter (Isaac) and Secured (Rebekah) his wife; and there I buried Weary (Leah).
32 The purchase of the field and of the cave that is there was from the children of Terror (Heth).
33 And when Heel-Grabber (Jacob) had made an end of commanding his sons, he gathered up his feet into the bed, and yielded up the ghost, and was gathered to his people.

The Beginning (Genesis) 48

1 And it came to pass after these things, that Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) was told, “Your father is sick.” He took his two sons, Causing to Forget (Manasseh) and Double Ash-Heap: Doubly Fruitful (Ephraim) with him.
2 When Heel-Grabber (Jacob) was told, “Your son Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) has come to see you.” God Prevails (Israel) strengthened himself, and sat up on the bed.
3 Heel-Grabber (Jacob) said, “Yehovah Will Add (Joseph), God the Nurturer (El Shaddai) appeared to me at Almond Tree (Luz) in the land of Humbled One (Canaan), and blessed me,
4 And said to me, Behold, I will make you fruitful, and multiply you, and I will make of you a multitude of people; and will give this land to your seed after you for an everlasting possession.
5 Now your two sons, Double Ash-Heap: Doubly Fruitful (Ephraim) and Causing to Forget (Manasseh), which were born to you in the land of Double Straights (Egypt) before I came to you in Double Straights (Egypt), are mine; as Behold a Son (Reuben) and Heard (Simeon), they shall be mine.
6 Your children, which you have after them, shall be yours, but shall be called after the name of their brethren in their inheritance.
7 As for me, when I came from Field (Padan), Ewe (Rachel) died by me in the land of Humbled One (Canaan) on the way, a little way from Ash-Heap: Place of Fruitfulness (Ephrath). I buried her there in the way of Ash-Heap: Place of Fruitfulness (Ephrath). (The same is House of Bread (Bethlehem).)”
8 God Prevails (Israel) looked at Yehovah Will Add's (Joseph) sons, and said, “Who are these?”
9 Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) said to his father, “They are my sons, whom God has given me in this place.” And he said, “Please bring them to me, and I will bless them.”
10 Now the eyes of God Prevails (Israel) were dim for age, so that he could not see. Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) brought them near him. He kissed them, and embraced them.
11 Then God Prevails (Israel) said to Yehovah Will Add (Joseph), “I did not think I would see your face again: and here God ('Elohiym) has shown me your seed as well!”
12 Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) brought them out from between his knees, and he bowed himself with his face to the earth.
13 Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) took them both, Double Ash-Heap: Doubly Fruitful (Ephraim) in his right hand toward God Prevail's (Israel) left hand, and Causing to Forget (Manasseh) in his left hand toward God Prevails (Israel) 's right hand, and brought them near him.
14 God Prevails (Israel) stretched out his right hand, and laid it on Double Ash-Heap: Doubly Fruitful (Ephraim)'s head, who was the younger, and his left hand on Causing to Forget (Manasseh)'s head, guiding his hands wittingly; for Causing to Forget (Manasseh) was the firstborn.
15 Then he blessed Yehovah Will Add (Joseph), saying, “God ('Elohiym), before whom my fathers Father of a Multitude (Abraham) and Laughter (Isaac) did walk, the God ('Elohiym) which fed me all my life long to this day,
16 The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Father of a Multitude (Abraham) and Laughter (Isaac); and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.”
17 When Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of Double Ash-Heap: Doubly Fruitful (Ephraim), it displeased him: and he held up his father's hand, to remove it from Double Ash-Heap: Doubly Fruitful's (Ephraim) head to Causing to Forget's (Manasseh) head.
18 Yehovah Will Add (Joseph) said to his father, “Not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put your right hand upon his head.”
19 But his father refused, saying, “I know it, my son, I know it. He also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.
20 And he blessed them that day, saying, “In you shall God Prevails (Israel) bless, saying, God ('Elohiym) make you as Double Ash-Heap: Doubly Fruitful (Ephraim) and as Causing to Forget (Manasseh).” And he set Double Ash-Heap: Doubly Fruitful (Ephraim) before Causing to Forget (Manasseh).
21 Then God Prevails (Israel) said to Yehovah Will Add (Joseph), “I am dying. But, God ('Elohiym) will be with you, and bring you again to the land of your fathers.
22 I have given to you one portion above your brethren, which I took out of the hand of the The Talkers, Sayers (Amorite) with my sword and with my bow.”
