1 These are the journeys of the children of God Prevails (Israel), who went forth out of the land of Double Straights (Egypt) with their armies under the hand of Drawn (Moses) and Light Bringer (Aaron).

Drawn (Moses) wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the
commandment of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah): and these are their journeys according
to their departures.

They departed from Child of the Sun (Rameses) in the first month, on the
fifteenth day of the first month; on the day after the Passover the children
of God Prevails (Israel) went out with a high hand in the sight of all the Double
Straighters (Egyptians).

The Double Straighters (Egyptians) had buried all their firstborn, which I AM
(the LORD, Yehovah) had killed among them. I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) executed
judgments on their gods also.

The children of God Prevails (Israel) removed from Child of the Sun (Rameses) and pitched in Booths (Succoth).

They then departed from Booths (Succoth) and pitched in Plowshare Fortress
(Etham), which is on the edge of the wilderness.

Then they removed from Plowshare Fortress (Etham) and turned again to Where
Sedge Grows (Pi-hahiroth), which is before Lord of the North (Baal-Zephon): and
they pitched before Tower (Migdol).

They departed from before Where Sedge Grows (Pi-hahiroth), and passed through
the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days' journey in the
wilderness of Plowshare Fortress (Etham), and pitched in Marah - Bitter (Marah).

Then they removed from Marah - Bitter (Marah), and came to Palms (Elim): and in
Palms (Elim) were twelve fountains of water and seventy palm trees; and they
pitched there.

From Palms (Elim) they traveled to and encamped by the Red Sea.

They left the Red Sea and encamped in the wilderness of Thorn (Sin).

Their journey took them out of the wilderness of Thorn (Sin) and encamped in Knocking
(Dophkah).

They departed from Knocking (Dophkah) and encamped in I Will Knead Bread
(Alush).

They removed from I Will Knead Bread (Alush) and encamped at Spreading Support
(Rephidim), where there was no water for the people to drink.

They departed from Spreading Support (Rephidim) and pitched in the wilderness
of Thorny (Sinai).

They left the desert of Thorny (Sinai) and pitched at Graves of Lust
(Kibrothhattaavah).

They departed from Graves of Lust (Kibrothhattaavah) and encamped at Settlement
(Hazeroth).

Then they departed from Settlement (Hazeroth) and pitched in Wasteland
(Rithmah).

They departed from Wasteland (Rithmah) and pitched at Pomegranate of the
Breach (Rimmonparez).

(Libnah).

They left Holy (Kadesh), and pitched in The Mountain (Hor), in the edge of the
land of Red (Edom).

There, Light Bringer (Aaron) the priest went up into The Mountain (Hor) at the
commandment of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), and died there, in the fortieth year
after the children of God Prevails (Israel) had come out of the land of Double
Straights (Egypt), in the first day of the fifth month.

Light Bringer (Aaron) was a hundred twenty-three years old when he died in The
Mountain (Hor).

King Wild Ass (Arad) the Humbled One (Canaanite), who dwelt in the south in the

I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) spoke to Drawn (Moses) in the plains of Of His Father
(Moab) by Descender (Jordan) near Its Moon (Jericho), saying,

Speak to the children of God Prevails (Israel), and say to them: When you have
passed over Descender (Jordan) into the land of Humbled One (Canaan);

Then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and
destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and totally
pluck down all their high places:

You shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have
given you the land to possess it.
54
You shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to
the more, you shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer, you shall give
the less inheritance: every man's inheritance shall be in the place where his
lot falls; according to the tribes of your fathers you shall inherit.
55
But if you will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then
it shall come to pass, that those which you let remain of them shall be pricks
in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein
ye dwell.
56
Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do to you, as I thought to do to
them.
