These Are the Words (Deuteronomy) 10

 1 At that time, I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) said to me: Hew two tablets of stone like to the first, and come up to Me into the mountain, and make an ark of wood.

2 I will write on the tablets the words that were in the first tablets which you broke, and you shalt put them in the ark.

3 So I made an ark of shittim wood and hewed two tablets of stone like to the first. Then I went up into the mountain, having the two tablets in my hand.

4 He wrote on the tablets, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) spoke to you in the mountain out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) gave them to me.

5 Then I turned myself and came down from the mountain, and put the tablets in the ark which I had made; and there they are, as I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) commanded me.

6 And the children of God Prevails (Israel) took their journey from Wells (Beeroth) of the children of He Twists (Jaakan) to Bonds (Mosera): there Light Bringer (Aaron) died, and there he was buried. God Has Helped (Eleazar) his son ministered in the priest's office in his stead.

7 From there, they journeyed to The Slashing Place (Gudgodah); and from The Slashing Place (Gudgodah) to Pleasantness (Jotbath), a land of rivers of waters.

8 At that time I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) separated the tribe of Joined To (Levi), to bear the ark of the covenant of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), to stand before I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) to minister to Him, and to bless in His name, to this day.

9 Joined To (Levi) has no part nor inheritance with his brethren; I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) is his inheritance, as I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) promised him.

10 I stayed in the mountain, as I did the first time, forty days and forty nights. I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) listened to me at that time also, that I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) would not destroy you.

11 Then I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) said to me: Arise, take your journey before the people, that they may go in and possess the land, which I swore to their fathers to give to them.

12 And now, God Prevails (Israel), what does I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) require of you, but to fear I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym), to walk in all his ways, and to love Him, and to serve I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) with all your heart and with all your soul,

13 To keep the commandments of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), and his statutes, which I command you this day for your good?

14 Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens are I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God’s (‘Elohiym), the earth also, with all that therein is.

15 Because I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) had a delight in your fathers to love them, and He chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.

16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart and quit being stiff-necked.

17 For I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) is God ('Elohiym) of gods ('elohiym), and Lord (Adonay) of lords (adon), a great God (El), mighty, and terrible, who regards not persons, nor takes bribes:

18 He executes the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loves the stranger, giving him food and raiment.

19 Love, therefore, the stranger: for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.

20 You shall fear I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym); Him you shall serve, and to Him, you shall cleave, and swear by His name.

21 He is your praise, and He is your God (‘Elohiym), that has done for you these great and terrible things, which your eyes have seen.

22 Your fathers went down into Double Straights (Egypt) with 70 people, and now I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) has made you as the stars of heaven for multitude.

These Are the Words (Deuteronomy) 9

 1 Hear, O God Prevails (Israel): You are to pass over the Descender (Jordan) this day, to go in to possess nations greater and mightier than yourself, cities great and fenced up to heaven,

2 A people great and tall, the children of the Long-Necks (Anakims), whom you know, and of whom you have heard say: Who can stand before the children of Neck (Anak, one of the giants)!

3 Understand therefore this day, that I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), your God (‘Elohiym) is He who goes over before you; as a consuming fire He shall destroy them, and He shall bring them down before your face: so, you shall drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), has said to you.

4 Speak not in your heart, after that I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), your God (‘Elohiym) has cast them out from before you, saying: For my righteousness I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), has brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations, I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), drove them out from before you.

5 Not for your righteousness, or for the uprightness of your heart, did you go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations, I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), your God (‘Elohiym) drove them out from before you, and that He may perform the word which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), swore to your fathers, Father of a Multitude (Abraham), Laughter (Isaac), and Heel-Grabber (Jacob).

6 Understand, therefore, that I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), your God (‘Elohiym) does not give you this good land to possess it for your righteousness; for you are a stiff-necked people.

7 Remember, and forget not, how you provoked I AM (I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that you departed out of the land of Double Straights (Egypt), until you came to this place, you have been rebellious against I AM (the LORD, Yehovah),

8 Also in Desert (Horeb) ye provoked I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) to wrath so that I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) was angry with you to have destroyed you.

9 When I was gone up into the mount to receive the tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) made with you, then I stayed in the mountain forty days and forty nights, I did not eat bread nor drink water:

10 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) delivered to me two tables of stone written with the finger of God ('Elohiym); and on them was written according to all the words, which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) spoke with you in the mountain out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly.

11 And it came to pass at the end of forty days and forty nights, that I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) gave me the two tables of stone, the tablets of the covenant.

12 And I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) said to me: Arise, go down quickly from here; for your people which you have brought forth out of Double Straights (Egypt) have corrupted themselves; they are quickly turned aside out of the way which I commanded them; they have made themselves a molten image.

13 Furthermore I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) spoke to me, saying: I have seen these people, and, behold, they are a stiff-necked people:

14 Let me alone, that I may destroy them, and blot out their name from under heaven: and I will make of you a nation mightier and greater than they.

15 So I turned and came down from the mountain, and the mountain burned with fire: and the two tablets of the covenant were in my two hands.

16 I looked, and, indeed, you had sinned against I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym), and had made yourselves a molten calf: you had turned aside quickly out of the way which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) had commanded you.

17 I took the two tablets, cast them out of my two hands, and broke them before your eyes.

18 Then I fell down before I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), as at the first, forty days and forty nights: I did not eat bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which you sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), to provoke Him to anger.

19 For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, with which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) was prepared to destroy you. But I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) listened to me at that time also.

20 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) was very angry with Aaron to have destroyed him: and I prayed for Aaron also at the same time.

21 I took your sin, the calf which you had made, and burnt it with fire, and stamped it, and ground it very small until it was as small as dust: and I cast the dust thereof into the brook that descended out of the mountain.

22 At Burning (Taberah), and at Temptation (Massah), and at Graves of Lust (Kibrothhattaavah), you provoked I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) to wrath.

23 Likewise, when I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) sent you from Holy (Kadeshbarnea), saying: Go up and possess the land which I have given you; then you rebelled against the commandment of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), your God (‘Elohiym), and you did not believe Him, nor listen to his voice.

24 You have been rebellious against I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) from the day that I knew you.

25 Thus I fell down before I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) forty days and forty nights, as I fell down at the first; because I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) had said He would destroy you.

26 I prayed therefore to I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), and said: O I AM LORD God (Yehovah-Elohyim), destroy not Your people and Your inheritance, whom You have redeemed through Your greatness, whom You brought forth out of Double Straights (Egypt) with a mighty hand.

27 Remember your servants, Father of a Multitude (Abraham), Laughter (Isaac), and Heel-Grabber (Jacob); look not to the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin:

28 Lest the land from which You brought us out say: Because I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) was not able to bring them into the land which He promised them, and because He hated them, He has brought them out to slay them in the wilderness.

29 Yet they are Your people and Your inheritance, which You brought out by Your mighty power and by Your stretched out arm.

These Are the Words (Deuteronomy) 8

 1 All the commandments which I command you this day you shall observe and do, that you may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the Lord swore to your fathers.

2 You shall remember all the ways in which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) led you these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you, and to prove you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments, or not.

3 He humbled you, and permitted you to hunger, and fed you with manna, which you did not know, neither did your fathers know; that He might make you know that man does not live by bread only, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) man lives.

4 Your clothing did not wear out, neither did your foot swell, these forty years.

5 You shall also consider in your heart, that, as a man chastens his son, so I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) chastens you.

6 Therefore you shall keep the commandments of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym), to walk in His ways, and to fear Him.

7 For I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) brings you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;

8 A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey;

9 A land wherein you shall eat bread without scarceness, you shall not lack anything in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills you may dig brass.

10 When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) for the good land which he has given you.

11 Beware that you forget not I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym), in not keeping His commandments, and His judgments, and His statutes, which I command you this day:

12 Lest when you have eaten and are full, and have built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;

13 And when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold is multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied;

14 Then your heart be lifted up, and you forget I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym), which brought you forth out of the land of Double Straights (Egypt), from the house of bondage;

15 Who led you through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought forth water out of the rock of flint for you;

16 Who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers knew not, that He might humble you, and that He might prove you, to do you good at your latter end;

17 And you say in your heart: My power and the might of mine hand has gotten me this wealth.

18 But you shall remember I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym): for it is He that gives you the power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

19 It shall be, if you do at all forget I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym), and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish.

20 As the nations which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) destroys before your face, so shall you perish; because you would not be obedient to the voice of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym).

These Are the Words (Deuteronomy) 7

When I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) shall bring you into the land where you go to possess it, and have cast out many nations before you, the Terrors (Hittite), and the Those Whose Dwelling Is Clayey Soil (Girgashites), and The Talkers, Sayers (Amorite), and the Humbled Ones (Canaanites), and the Those Belonging to a Village (Perizzites), and the Villagers Hivites), and the Those Trodden Underfoot (Jebusites), seven nations greater and mightier than you;

2 When I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) shall deliver them before you; you shall smite them, and utterly destroy them; you shall make no covenant with them, nor show mercy on them:

3 Neither shall you make marriages with them; your daughter you shall not give to his son, nor his daughter shall you take to your son.

4 For they will turn away your son from following Me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) be kindled against you, and destroy you suddenly.

5 But you shall deal with them this way; you shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.

6 For you are a holy people to I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym): I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) have chosen you to be a special people to Himself, above all people that are on the face of the earth.

7 The Lord did not set His love on you, nor choose you because you were more in number than any people; for you were the fewest of all people:

8 But because I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) loved you, and because He would keep the oath which He had sworn to your fathers, has I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Great House (Pharaoh) king of Double Straights (Egypt).

9 Know therefore that I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym), He is God, the faithful God, who keeps covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep His commandments to a thousand generations;

10 And repays them that hate Him to their face, to destroy them: He will not be slack to him that hates Him. He will repay him to his face.

11 You shall therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command you this day, to do them.

12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, if you respond to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) shall keep to you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers:

13 And He will love you, and bless you, and multiply you: He will also bless the fruit of your womb, and the fruit of your land, your corn, and your wine, and your oil, the increase of your cattle, and the flocks of your sheep, in the land which He swore to your fathers to give you.

14 You shall be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your animals.

15 And I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) will take away from you all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Double Straights (Egypt), which you know, upon you; but will lay them on all them that hate you.

16 You shall consume all the people which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) shall deliver you; your eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shall you serve their gods; for that will be a snare to you.

17 If you shall say in your heart: These nations are more than I; how can I dispossess them?

18 You shall not be afraid of them: but shall well remember what I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) did to Great House (Pharaoh), and to all Double Straights (Egypt);

19 The great temptations which your eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched-out arm, whereby I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) brought you out: So shall I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) do to all the people of whom you are afraid.

20 Moreover, I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) will send the hornet among them, until they that are left and hide from you, be destroyed.

21 You shall not be affrighted at them: for I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) is among you, a mighty God ('Elohiym) and terrible.

22 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) will put out those nations before you by little and little: You may not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon you.

23 But I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) shall deliver them to you, and shall destroy them with a mighty destruction, until they are destroyed.

24 He shall deliver their kings into your hand, and thou shall destroy their name from under heaven: there shall no man be able to stand before you until you have destroyed them.

25 The graven images of their ‘elohiym shall you burn with fire: you shall not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it to you, lest you be snared by them: for it is an abomination to I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym).

26 Neither shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest you be a cursed thing like it: but you shall utterly detest it, and you shall utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.

These Are the Words (Deuteronomy) 6

 1 Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) commanded to teach you, that you might do them in the land you go to possess:

2 That you might fear I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym), to keep all His statutes and His commandments, which I command you, you, and your son, and your son's son, all the days of your life; and that your days may be prolonged.

3 Hear, therefore, O God Prevails (Israel)and observe to do it; that it may be well with you, and that you may increase mightily, as the I AM LORD God (Yehovah-Elohyim) of your fathers has promised you, in the land that flows with milk and honey.

4 Hear, O God Prevails (Israel): I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) our God (‘Elohiym) is one I AM (Lord):

5 You shall love I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.

6 These words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart:

7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.

8 You shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.

9 You shall write them upon the posts of your house and on your gates.

10 It shall be, when I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) shall have brought you into the land which He swore to your fathers, to Father of a Multitude (Abraham), to Laughter (Isaac), and to Heel-Grabber (Jacob), to give you great and goodly cities, which you did not build,

11 With houses full of all good things, which you did not fill, and wells you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees, and which you did not plant. When you shall have eaten and are full;

12 Then beware lest you forget I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), which brought you forth out of the land of Double Straights (Egypt), from the house of bondage.

13 You shall fear I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym), and serve Him, and shall swear by His name.

14 You shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;

15 (For I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) is a jealous God (‘Elohiym) among you) lest the anger of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) be kindled against you and destroy you from off the face of the earth.

16 You shall not tempt I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym), as you tempted him in Temptation (Massah).

17 You shall diligently keep the commandments of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym), and His testimonies, and His statutes, which He has commanded you.

18 You shall do that which is right and good in the sight of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah): that it may be well with you, and that you may go in and possess the good land which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) swore to your fathers.

19 To cast out all your enemies from before you, as I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) has spoken.

20 When your son asks you in time to come, saying: What is the meaning of the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) our God (‘Elohiym) has commanded you?

21 Then you shall say to your son: We were Great House’s (Pharaoh) bondmen in Double Straights (Egypt), and I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) brought us out of Double Straights (Egypt) with a mighty hand:

22 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) showed signs and wonders, great and devastating, on Double Straights (Egypt), upon Great House (Pharaoh), and upon all his household, before our eyes:

23 He brought us out from there, that He might bring us in, to give us the land which He swore to our fathers.

24 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) our God (‘Elohiym), for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.

25 It shall be our righteousness if we observe to do all these commandments before I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) our God (‘Elohiym), as He has commanded us.

These Are the Words (Deuteronomy) 5

Drawn (Moses) called all God Prevails (Israel), and said to them: Hear, O God Prevails (Israel), the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that you may learn them, and keep, and do them.

2 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) our God ('Elohiym) made a covenant with us in Desert (Horeb).

3 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) did not make this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.

4 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire,

5 (I stood between I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) and you at that time, to show you the word of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah): for you were afraid by reason of the fire, and did not go up into the mount;) saying:

6 I am I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym), which brought you out of the land of Double Straights (Egypt), from the house of bondage.

7 You shall have none other gods ('elohiym) before Me.

8 You shall not make yourselves any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:

9 You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I, I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) am a jealous God ('Elohiym), visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me,

10 And showing mercy to thousands of them that love Me and keep My commandments.

11 You shall not take the name of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) in vain: for I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

12 Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) has commanded you.

13 Six days you shall labor, and do all your work:

14 But the seventh day is the sabbath of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym): in it, You shall not do any work, not you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your ox, nor your ass, nor any of your cattle, nor the stranger that is within your gates; that your manservant and your maidservant may rest as well as you.

15 Remember that you were a servant in the land of Double Straights (Egypt), and that I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) brought you out from there through a mighty hand and by a stretched-out arm: therefore, I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) commanded you to keep the sabbath day.

16 Honor your father and your mother, as I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) has commanded you; that your days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with you, in the land which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) gives you.

17 You shall not kill.

18 Neither shall you commit adultery.

19 Neither shall you steal.

20 Neither shall you bear false witness against your neighbor.

21 Neither shall you desire your neighbor's wife, neither shall you covet your neighbor's house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or anything that is your neighbor's.

22 These words I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) spoke to all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and He added no more. He wrote them in two tables of stone and delivered them to me.

23 And it came to pass, when you heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain burned with fire,) that you came near to me, along with all the heads of your tribes, and your elders;

24 You said: Behold, I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) our God ('Elohiym) has shown us His glory and His greatness, and we have heard His voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God ('Elohiym) does talk with man, and he lives.

25 Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) our God ('Elohiym) any more, then we shall die.

26 For who is there of all flesh, that has heard the voice of the living God ('Elohiym) speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?

27 You go near and hear all that I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) our God ('Elohiym) shall say: and you speak to us all that I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) our God ('Elohiym) shall speak to you; and we will hear it, and do it.

28 So I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) heard the voice of your words, when you spoke to me; and I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) said to me: I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken to you: they have well said all that they have spoken.

29 O that there was such a heart in them, that they would fear Me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children forever!

30 Go say to them, Go into your tents again.

31 But as for you, stand here by Me, and I will speak to you all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which you shall teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it.

32 You shall observe to do therefore as I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) has commanded you: you shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

33 You shall walk in all the ways which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) has commanded you, that you may live, and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.

These Are the Words (Deuteronomy) 4

 1 Now, therefore, pay attention, O God Prevails (Israel), to the statutes and to the judgments, which I teach you, to do them, that you may live, and go in and possess the land which I AM LORD God (Yehovah-Elohyim) of your fathers gives you.

2 You shall not add to the word which I command you, neither shall you take anything away from it, that you may keep the commandments of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) which I command you.

3 Your eyes have seen what I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) did because of Lord of the Gap (Baalpeor): all the men that followed Lord of the Gap (Baalpeor), I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) has destroyed them from among you.

4 But you that cleaved to I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) are alive every one of you this day.

5 Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) my God ('Elohiym) commanded me, that you should do so in the land where you go to possess it.

6 Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say: Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.

7 For what nation is there so great, who has God ('Elohiym) so close to them, as I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) our God ('Elohiym) is in all things that we call on Him for?

8 And what nation is there so great, that has statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?

9 Only take heed to yourself, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life: but teach them your sons, and your sons' sons.

10 Especially the day that you stood before I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) in Desert (Horeb), when I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) said to me: Gather the people together, and I will make them hear My words, that they may learn to fear Me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.

11 You came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire to the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness.

12 Then I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) spoke to you out of the midst of the fire: you heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only you heard a voice.

13 He declared to you His covenant, which He commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and He wrote them on two tables of stone.

14 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that you might do them in the land when you go over to possess it.

15 Take therefore good heed to yourselves; for you saw no manner of similitude on the day that I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) spoke to you in Desert (Horeb) out of the midst of the fire:

16 Lest you corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,

17 The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flies in the air,

18 The likeness of anything that creeps on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth:

19 Lest you lift up your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, should be driven to worship them, and serve them, which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) has divided to all nations under the whole heaven.

20 But I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) has taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Double Straights (Egypt), to be to Him a people of inheritance, as you are this day.

21 Furthermore I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) was angry with me for your sakes, and swore that I would not go over The Descender (Jordan), and that I would not go into that good land, which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) gives you for an inheritance:

22 But I must die in this land, I must not go over The Descender (Jordan): but you shall go over, and possess that good land.

23 Take heed to yourselves, lest you forget the covenant of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym), which He made with you, and make yourselves a graven image, or the likeness of anything, which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) have forbidden.

24 For I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) is a consuming fire, even a jealous God ('Elohiym).

25 When you beget children, and children's children, and you have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image, or the likeness of anything, and shall do evil in the sight of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym), to provoke Him to anger:

26 I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that you shall soon utterly perish from off the land where you go over The Descender (Jordan) to possess it; you shall not prolong your days there, but shall utterly be destroyed.

27 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) shall scatter you among the nations, and you shall be left few in number among the heathen, where I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) shall lead you.

28 There you shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.

29 But if from there you shall seek I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym), you shall find Him, if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

30 When you are in tribulation, and all these things have come upon you, even in the latter days, if you turn to I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym), and shall be obedient to His voice;

31 For I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) is a merciful God ('Elohiym); He will not forsake you, neither destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them.

32 For ask now of the days that are past, which were before you, since the day that God ('Elohiym) created man upon the earth, and asked from the one side of heaven to the other, whether there has been any such thing as this great thing is, or has been heard like it?

33 Did people ever hear the voice of God ('Elohiym) speaking out of the midst of the fire, as you have heard, and lived?

34 Or has God ('Elohiym) endeavored to go and take Him a nation from the midst of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched-out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) did for you in Double Straights (Egypt) before your eyes?

35 To you it was shown, that you might know that I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) He is God ('Elohiym); there is no-one else beside Him.

36 Out of heaven He made you hear His voice, that He might instruct you: and on earth, He showed you His great fire, and you heard His words out of the midst of the fire.

37 Because He loved your fathers, therefore He chose their seed after them, and brought you out in his sight with His mighty power out of Double Straights (Egypt);

38 To drive out nations from before you greater and mightier than you are, to bring you in, to give you their land for an inheritance, as it is this day.

39 Know therefore this day, and consider it in your heart, that I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) He is God ('Elohiym) in heaven above, and on the earth beneath: there is none else.

40 You shall keep therefore His statutes, and His commandments, which I command you this day, that it may go well with you, and with your children after you, and that You may prolong your days upon the earth, which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) gives you, forever.

41 Then Drawn (Moses) severed three cities on this side The Descender (Jordan) toward the sun rising;

42 That the slayer might flee there, who killed his neighbor unawares, and hated him not in times past; and that fleeing to one of these cities he might live:

43 Namely, Gold Ore (Bezer) in the wilderness, in the plain country, of the Behold a Sons (Reubenites); and Heights (Ramoth) in Rocky Region (Gilead), of the Troops (Gadites); and Their Captivity: Their Rejoicing (Golan) in Fruitful (Bashan), of the Children of Causing to Forget (Manassites).

44 And this is the law which Drawn (Moses) set before the children of God Prevails (Israel):

45 These are the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which Drawn (Moses) spoke to the children of God Prevails (Israel), after they came forth out of Double Straights (Egypt).

46 On this side The Descender (Jordan), in the valley over against House of Cleft (Bethpeor), in the land of Warrior (Sihon) king of The Talkers, Sayers (Amorite), who dwelt at Stronghold (Heshbon), whom Drawn (Moses) and the children of God Prevails (Israel) smote, after they come out of Double Straights (Egypt):

47 And they possessed his land, and the land of Og king of Fruitful (Bashan), two kings of The Talkers, Sayers (Amorite), which were on this side The Descender (Jordan) toward the sun rising;

48 From Ruins (Aroer), which is by the bank of the river Rushing Stream (Arnon), even to Mount Lofty (Sion), which is Sanctuary (Hermon),

49 And all the plain on this side The Descender (Jordan) eastward, even to the sea of the plain, under the springs of Cleft (Pisgah).

These Are the Words (Deuteronomy) 3

 1 Then we turned and went up the way to Fruitful (Bashan). Long-Necked (Og) the king of Fruitful (Bashan) came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Goodly Pasture (Edrei).

2 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) said to me: Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into your hand; and you shall do to him as you did to Warrior (Sihon) king of The Talkers, Sayers (Amorites), which dwelt at Stronghold (Heshbon).

3 So I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) our God ('Elohiym) delivered into our hands Long-Necked (Og) also, the king of Fruitful (Bashan), and all his people: and we smote him until no one was left of him.

4 We took all his cities at that time, there was not a city which we didn’t take from them, thirty cities, all the region of Heap of Clods (Argob), the kingdom of Long-Necked (Og) in Fruitful (Bashan).

5 All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates, and bars; in addition to those, unwalled towns a great many.

6 We utterly destroyed them, as we did to Warrior (Sihon) king of Stronghold (Heshbon), utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city.

7 But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities, we took for a prey to ourselves.

8 At that time, we took out of the hand of the two kings of The Talkers, Sayers (Amorites) the land that was on this side of the Descender (Jordan), from the river of Rushing Stream (Arnon) to Mount Sanctuary (Hermon);

9 (Which Sanctuary (Hermon) the Hunters/Fishers call Breastplate (Sirion); and The Talkers, Sayers (Amorites) call it Snow Mountain (Shenir);)

10 All the cities of the plain, and all Rocky Region (Gilead), and all Fruitful (Bashan), to Migration (Salchah) and Goodly Pasture (Edrei), cities of the kingdom of Long-Necked (Og) in Fruitful (Bashan).

11 For only Long-Necked (Og) king of Fruitful (Bashan) remained of the remnant of giants; behold his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Great (Rabbath) of the children of Tribal (Ammon)? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.

12 This land, which we possessed at that time, from Ruins (Aroer), which is by the river Rushing Stream (Arnon), and half mount Rocky Region (Gilead), and the cities thereof, I gave to the Behold a Sons (Reubenites) and to the Troops (Gadites).

13 The rest of Rocky Region (Gilead), and all Fruitful (Bashan), being the kingdom of Long-Necked (Og), I gave to the half-tribe of Causing to Forget (Manasseh); all the region of Heap of Clods (Argob), with all of Fruitful (Bashan), which was called the land of giants.

14 He Enlightens (Jair), the son of Causing to Forget (Manasseh), took all the country of Heap of Clods (Argob) to the coasts of From the Bridge (Geshuri) and Pressure (Maachasi); and called them after his own name Villages of He Enlightens (Havothjair) to this day.

15 And I gave Rocky Region (Gilead) to Sold (Machir).

16 T the Behold a Sons (Reubenites) and to the Troops (Gad) I gave from Rocky Region (Gilead) from the river Rushing Stream (Arnon) half the valley, and the border to the river Emptying (Jabbok), which is the border of the children of Tribal (Ammon);

17 The plain also, and the Descender (Jordan), and the coast thereof, from Harps (Chinnereth) even to the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, under Springs Pouring Out of the Mountain (Ashdothpisgah) eastward.

18 I commanded you at that time, saying, I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) has given you this land to possess it: you shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of God Prevails (Israel), all that are able for the war.

19 But your wives, and your little ones, and your cattle, (for I know that you have much cattle,) shall stay in your cities which I have given you;

20 Until I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) has given rest to your brethren, as well as to you, and until they also possess the land which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) has given them beyond the Descender (Jordan). Then you shall return every man to his possession, which I have given you.

21 I commanded Jehovah is Salvation (Joshua) at that time, saying: Your eyes have seen all that I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) has done to these two kings: so shall I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) do to all the kingdoms wherever you go.

22 You shall not fear them: for I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym), He shall fight for you.

23 I sought I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) at that time, saying:

24 O Lord (Adonay) I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), You have begun to show Your servant Your greatness, and Your mighty hand: for what god ('elohiym) is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to Your works, and according to Your might?

25 Please, let me go over and see the good land that is beyond the Descender (Jordan), that goodly mountain, and Whiteness (Lebanon).

26 But I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) was angry with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) said to me: Let it be; speak no more to me of this matter.

27 Get up into the top of Cleft (Pisgah), and lift up your eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with your eyes: for you shall not go over the Descender (Jordan).

28 But charge Jehovah is Salvation (Joshua), and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which you shall see.

29 So we stayed in the valley over against House of Cleft (Bethpeor).
