These Are the Words (Deuteronomy) 31

 1 Drawn (Moses) went and spoke these words to all God Prevails (Israel).

 2 He said to them: I am a hundred-twenty-years old this day; I can no longer go out and come in. I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) has said to me: You shall not go over The Descender (Jordan).

 3 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym), He will go over before you, and He will destroy these nations from before you, and you shall possess them: and I AM is Salvation (Joshua) shall go over before you, I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) has said.

 4 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) shall do to them as He did to Warrior (Sihon) and to Long-Necked (Og), kings of The Talkers, Sayers (Amorite), and to the land of them, whom He destroyed.

 5 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) shall give them up before your face, that you may do to them according to all the commandments which I have commanded you.

 6 Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym), He it is that goes with you; He will not fail you, nor forsake you.

 7 Then Drawn (Moses) called to I AM is Salvation (Joshua), and said to him in the sight of all God Prevails (Israel), Be strong and of good courage: for you must go with this people to the land which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) has sworn to their fathers to give them. You shall cause them to inherit it.

 8 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), it is He that goes before you; He will be with you, He will not fail you, neither forsake you: fear not, neither be dismayed.

 9 Then Drawn (Moses) wrote this law, and delivered it to the priests the sons of Joined To (Levi), which bore the ark of the covenant of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), and to all the elders of God Prevails (Israel).

 10 And Drawn (Moses) commanded them, saying: At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,

 11 When all God Prevails (Israel) is come to appear before I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) in the place which He shall choose, you shall read this law before all God Prevails (Israel) in their hearing.

 12 Gather the people together, men and women, and children, and the stranger that is within your gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym), and observe to do all the words of this law:

 13 And that their children, which have not known anything, may hear, and learn to fear I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym), as long as you live in the land whither you go over The Descender (Jordan) to possess it.

 14 Then I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) said to Drawn (Moses): Behold, the day is approaching that you must die: call I AM is Salvation (Joshua), and present yourselves in the tabernacle of the congregation, that I may give him a charge. So Drawn (Moses) and I AM is Salvation (Joshua) went and presented themselves in the tabernacle of the congregation.

 15 There I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) appeared in the tabernacle in a pillar of a cloud: and the pillar of the cloud stood over the door of the tabernacle.

 16 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) said to Drawn (Moses): Behold, you shall sleep with your fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, where they go to be among them, and will forsake Me, and break My covenant which I have made with them.

 17 Then My anger shall be kindled against them in that day. I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God ('Elohiym) is not among us?

 18 I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned to other gods.

 19 Now, therefore, write this song, and teach it the children of God Prevails (Israel): put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of God Prevails (Israel).

 20 For when I shall have brought them into the land which I swore to their fathers, that flows with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and become fat; then will they turn to other gods, and serve them, and provoke Me, and break My covenant.

 21 It shall come to pass when many evils and troubles are befallen them, that this song shall testify against them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I know their imagination which they go about, even now, before I have brought them into the land which I swore.

 22 Drawn (Moses) therefore wrote this song the same day and taught it to the children of God Prevails (Israel).

23 He gave I AM is Salvation (Joshua) the son of Posterity (Nun) a charge, and said: Be strong and of good courage: for you shall bring the children of God Prevails (Israel) into the land which I swore to them: and I will be with you.

 24 It came to pass when Drawn (Moses) had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book until they were finished,

 25 That Drawn (Moses) commanded the Joined To (Levites), which bore the ark of the covenant of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), saying,

26 Take this book of the law, and put it inside of the ark of the covenant of the I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym), that it may be there for a witness against you.

 27 For I know your rebellion, and your stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, you have been rebellious against I AM (the LORD, Yehovah); and how much more after my death?

 28 Gather to me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to record against them.

 29 For I know that after my death you will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you, and evil will befall you in the latter days; because you will do evil in the sight of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), to provoke Him to anger through the work of your hands.

 30 This Drawn (Moses) spoke in the ears of all the congregation of God Prevails (Israel) the words of this song until they were ended.

These Are the Words (Deuteronomy) 30

 1 It shall come to pass that when all these things happen, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, you shall call them to mind among all the nations, where I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) has driven you,

 2 And shall return to I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym), and shall obey His voice according to all that I command you this day, you and your children, with all your heart, and with all your soul;

 3 That then I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) will turn your captivity, and have compassion upon you, and will return and gather you from all the nations, whither I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) has scattered you.

 4 If any of you are driven out to the outmost parts of heaven, from there will I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) gather you, and from there He will fetch you:

 5 Then I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it; and He will do you good, and multiply you above your fathers.

 6 So I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your seed, to love I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) with all your heart, and with all your soul, that you may live.

 7 Then I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) will put all these curses on your enemies, and on them that hate you, which persecuted you.

 8 If you return and obey the voice of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah), and do all His commandments which I command you this day.

 9 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) will make you plenteous in every work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your cattle, and in the fruit of your land, for good: for the Lord will again rejoice over you for good, as He rejoiced over your fathers:

 10 If you listen to the voice of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym), to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if you turn to I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) with all your heart, and with all your soul.

 11 For this commandment which I command you this day, it is not hidden from you, neither is it far off.

 12 It is not in heaven, that you should say: Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it to us, that we may hear it, and do it?

 13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say: Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it to us, that we may hear it, and do it?

 14 But the word is very near you, in your mouth, and in your heart, that you may do it.

 15 See, I have set before you this day life and good, and death and evil;

 16 In that I command you this day to love I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym), to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, that you may live and multiply: and I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym) shall bless you in the land you go to possess.

 17 But if your heart turns away, so that you will not hear, but are drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;

 18 I denounce to you this day, that you shall surely perish, and that you shall not prolong your days upon the land when you pass over The Descender (Jordan) to go to possess it.

19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore, choose life, that both you and your seed may live:

 20 That you may love I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God (‘Elohiym), and that you may obey His voice, and that you may cleave to Him: for He is your life, and the length of your days: that you may dwell in the land which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) swore to your fathers, to Father of a Multitude (Abraham), to Laughter (Isaac), and to Heel-Grabber (Jacob), to give to them.

These Are the Words (Deuteronomy) 29

 1 These are the words of the covenant, which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) commanded Drawn (Moses) to make with the children of God Prevails (Israel) in the land of Of His Father (Moab), beside the covenant which He made with them in Desert (Horeb).

 2 Drawn (Moses) called all of God Prevails (Israel), and said to them, You have seen all that I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) did before your eyes in the land of Double Straights (Egypt) to Great House (Pharaoh), and to all his servants, and to all his land;

 3 The great temptations which your eyes have seen, the signs, and those great miracles:

 4 Yet I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) has not given you a heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, to this day.

 5 I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes have not worn out, and your shoes have no holes.

 6 You have not eaten bread, neither have you drunk wine or strong drink: that you might know that I am I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym).

 7 When you came to this place, Warrior (Sihon) the king of Stronghold (Heshbon), and Long-Necked (Og) the king of Fruitful (Bashan), came out against us to battle, and we smote them:

 8 We took their land and gave it for an inheritance to the children of Behold a Son (Reuben), to the Troop (Gad), and to the half-tribe of Causing to Forget (Manasseh).

 9 Therefore keep the words of this covenant, and do them, that you may prosper in all that you do.

 10 You stand this day all of you before I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym); your captains of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of God Prevails (Israel),

 11 Your little ones, your wives, and the stranger that is in your camp, from the hewer of your wood to the drawer of your water:

 12 That you should enter into covenant with I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym), and into His oath, which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) your God ('Elohiym) makes with you this day:

13 That He may establish you today as a people to Himself, and that He may be to you a God ('Elohiym), as He has said to you, and as He has sworn to your fathers, to Father of a Multitude (Abraham), to Laughter (Isaac), and to Heel-Grabber (Jacob).

14 Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath;

 15 But with him that stands here with us this day before I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) our God ('Elohiym), and also with him that is not here with us this day:

 16 (For you know how we have dwelt in the land of Double Straights (Egypt), and how we came through the nations which you passed by;

17 You have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were among them:)

18 Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turns away this day from I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) our God ('Elohiym), to go and serve the gods ('elohiym) of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that bears gall and wormwood;

 19 It shall come to pass, when he hears the words of this curse, that he blesses himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of my heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:

 20 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) will not spare him, but then the anger of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) and His jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) shall blot out his name from under heaven.

 21 I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) shall separate him to evil out of all the tribes of God Prevails (Israel), according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law:

 22 So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) has laid upon it;

 23 That the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor bears, nor any grass grows therein, like the overthrow of Burning (Sodom), and Tyrants (Gomorrah), Red Earth (Admah), and Gazelles (Zeboim), which I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) overthrew in His anger, and in His wrath:

 24 Even all nations shall say: Wherefore has I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) done thus to this land? what is the meaning of the heat of this great anger?

 25 Then men shall say: Because they have forsaken the covenant of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) the God ('Elohiym) of their fathers, which He made with them when He brought them forth out of the land of Double Straights (Egypt):

 26 For they went and served other gods ('elohiym), and worshipped them, gods ('elohiym) whom they knew not, and whom He had not given to them:

 27 And the anger of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book:

 28 And I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day.

 29 The secret things belong to I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) our God ('Elohiym): but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.
