Numbers 17

 Numbers 17

I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) spoke to Drawn (Moses), saying,

Speak to the children of God Prevails (Israel), and take of every one of them a rod according to the house of their fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write every man's name on his rod.

You shall write Light Bringer's (Aaron) name on the rod of Joined To (Levi): for one rod shall be for the head of the house of their fathers.

You shall lay them up in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you.

Then it shall come to pass, that the man's rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from Me the murmurings of the children of God Prevails (Israel), whereby they murmur against you.

So Drawn (Moses) spoke to the children of God Prevails (Israel), and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers' houses, twelve rods: and the rod of Light Bringer (Aaron) was among their rods.

So Drawn (Moses) laid up the rods before I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) in the tabernacle of witness.

The next morning, Drawn (Moses) went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Light Bringer (Aaron) for the house of Joined To (Levi) had budded, brought forth buds, bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.

Drawn (Moses) brought out all the rods from before I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) to all the children of God Prevails (Israel): and they looked, and took every man his rod.

Then I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) said to Drawn (Moses), Bring Light Bringer (Aaron)'s rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels; and you shall finally take away their murmurings from Me, that they die not.

Drawn (Moses) did so: as I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) commanded him, so did he.

Then the children of God Prevails (Israel) spoke to Drawn (Moses), saying: Behold, we die, we perish, we all perish.

Whosoever comes anywhere near to the tabernacle of I AM (the LORD, Yehovah) shall die: shall we be consumed with dying?
